Training and Communications Specialist
Duration - 9 Months, Contract, W-2
Location - Onsite in Newport Beach, CA
Pay - $55 - $61.99 an hr
Duties:
· Act as the trainer for the Planview platform we are implementing and work with the various stakeholders and Project Management Offices (PMOs) across the enterprise to develop training curriculum, online courses and hold training sessions with various user groups.
· Build training programs and materials for various user groups like project managers, resource managers, leadership, finance etc.
· Train various user groups on Planview processes sand functionality
· Identify any issues and feedback from training sessions and funnel to application backlog
· Identify platform improvements as part of trainings (process and user experience)
· Identify any technical issues and log appropriately
· Acts as a strong business partner with our business and enterprise functions who use the tool in a variety of ways (demand management, project management, resource management)
· Sets proper expectations with users and PMO leaders
· Supports other department needs in support of Planview as assigned (e.g. demos, training rollout planning etc.)
Qualifications:
· 7+ years relevant experience in training and development
· Project and portfolio management experience
· PPM Tool & PPM Tool Trainer experience (used or implemented) and training curriculum development and rollout experience, ideally with Planview or other leading PPM tool
· Recent Planview implementation, user or trainer experience for a financial services company
· Ability to complete assignments in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, balancing accuracy, speed, and thoroughness.
· Adapts to change quickly
· Experience with Customer User Training and facilitating User Training
· Experience developing End User Training and Training Curriculum
· Experience with Change Management end-user training
